Code of Conduct

CODE OF CONDUCT ALL EMPLOYEES, COMPETITORS, AND SPECTATORS ARE EXPECTED TO FOLLOW

1. Any conduct not promoting a family atmosphere or growth of the sport of hog baying will not be tolerated. No foul language, bickering, complaining, or vulgar activity of any kind. Women and children are welcome at our events and we will absolutely have an atmosphere where they not only feel welcome but can contribute to our events. Also conduct towards judges, workers, and fellow competitors must be respectful at all times. It is encouraged to celebrate a successful run but not to celebrate others short comings.

2. No illegal drugs are allowed on premises of the hog baying. No alcohol will be allowed past the barn in front of the entrance to the pen NO EXCEPTIONS. If you are visibly inebriated you will be asked to stay at your camp and can not run your dogs if your situation is a threat to your own well being or to the image of our sport.

3. There will be zero tolerance for altercations and we do not care what roll you play in the altercation. This includes verbal and physical altercations.

DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS

Any violations of the above rules will be brought to a board to determine if they warrant action. If the majority of the board votes for disciplinary action the violator will be suspended for one show and be placed on probation for a year. If they violate their probation the board will determine a harsher suspension that could include up to a lifetime time ban.

The board will consist of 5 members of the hog baying community that have a good name and abide by the above conduct policies.
